Our visit to flapjacks

When on vacation, we typically find the best local restaurants to try. Bonn and I recently had the opportunity to get away for just a few days (Wed night – Saturday) up to Lincoln, NH. We stayed at The Village of Loon Mountain, unit 217 if you care to know. This area, most famous for the Loon Mountain skiing in the winter, has an all-season attractiveness with fun shops, places to walk, and lots of good eats. Speaking of good eats, let me tell you about our visit to Flapjacks in Lincoln, NH.

Flapjacks is a cozy little breakfast diner with amazing food options, friendly staff, and comfortable seating. They don’t have a website, but you can find them on their Facebook page. It is not terribly large, so if you are coming during a busy season, I suspect you should prepare for a wait. From our experience, the wait will be worth it.

Standing in line to get in I noticed a board with their specials. Steak and eggs Benedict were on it. Yum. I am not a big breakfast eater, but when on vacation I will gladly enjoy something fun like this.

The place came out as you see in the picture. Delicious piles of shaved steak on a very thick muffin, covered with eggs and hollandais sauce. The home fries were amazing as well. The whole meal was just the right amount of food.

So, if you ever find yourself visiting Lincoln, NH you will want to make a visit to Flapjacks.
